Im curious to see if your still successful using shopify or if your thoughts are still the same. Im in the same boat and trying to figure out how to best transition off of Poshmark. Right now I am in PANIC!I have been in Poshmark for some 3 years and about 2 I decided to make it may official business, I went well for a while but all of a sudden sales got to a halt. The bottom line is this , first of all I owned a retail fashion store for years and had the same problems and I found out its easier getting cussed out online than in person . If it was Ebay that wouldnt fly. Whoever these people are, no nothing about products! I just started selling and already I seem to have gotten a fraud situation. All of those things you mention happen EVERYWHERE. That looks like a phone number and his responses were in broken English. I hate they have a buyers protection in place and not a sellers protection. Just like Uber, the only people making the bucks are the Posh creators!! I had a genuine Chanel listing reported and questioned. Secondly I sold a pair of knit boots for very cheap because they were not ugg just a cheap look a like and made sure to list that in description due to the fact that they were listed under ugg for exposure. Either way, its disgraceful that Poshmark clearly doesnt take into account the integrity of its sellers (all my items are brand-new with tags, NWOT or in pristine condition from my own personal closet) or their track record. The one in my size, the seller only shows stock photos. Nothing bad. I dont have time for this stupid back and forth game people play on poshmark with that ridiculous offer button so I just declined the offer and she went nuts! I have blocked that buyer from every being able to view my closet again and in the future (until I decide to close my closet) I will take photos of all items prior to shipping and make sure that the Poshmark shipping label is included in every shot!! hi! They would rather you contact them via a listing than rate them bad so everyone can see it. They are getting just as bad. I had told them I was happy with the other items, and only wanted a refund for the damaged top, plus the money off that was promised in the description. I can tell you this: Selling clothes to humans is a pain. Two more things: If youre selling fakes knowingly, stop it. This was interesting reading. I would recommend starting with Tradesy and eBay. In both of those cases, I had Posh cancel the orders and let the buyers keep the items for free because it wasnt worth it to me, but really if a case is opened against you once in every hundred sales or so thats not too bad. Buyers remorse is no reason to lie about an item. I dont have any negative ones thankfully minus a brand new product that someone said was more than gently used (still in packaging) !! So, Im done. At least with eBay, you only see what you search for and are not bombarded with gross items and sellers all over your feed. I just started on poshmark selling designer clothing (3.1 Phillip Lim , rag and bone, Sergio Rossi etc.) Once i use those words you bet these people change real quick. I continue to ask the buyer to work with Poshmark directly to return and she keeps asking questions and complaining about the authenticity. My best advice is to list your items on PoshMark and leave the Crushing, sharing listings and Pavlov dogs to someone else and get on with enjoying your life. Example, this one chick offered me $15 on a pair of Tom Ford leather boots in like new condition, ($15 on a pair of $3,400 boots i had priced at a very reasonable $300.)
